😱HUGE UPSET! Chris Eubank Jr vs Liam Smith I | Full Fight | Sky Sports Box Office | 21/1/2023
Chris Eubank Jr 32–2 (23 KOs) vs Liam Smith 32–3–1 (19 KOs), billed as Unleashed, was a professional boxing match contested on 21 January 2023.
Prior to the fight with Benn being announced, a fight between Eubank and Smith was first discussed by Ben Shalom in June 2022. Shalom believed Eubank should be challenging for world titles. Eubank had one fight left on his contract with Boxxer and Sky Sports. On 1 July 2022, the opportunity to proceed with the fight became more feasible following Smith’s signing of a multi-fight agreement with Boxxer and Sky Sports. Following the cancellation of Eubank’s bout with Benn, Shalom announced that Smith would be positioned to face Eubank next. Additionally, Smith’s potential opponents included Kell Brook, who was in the spotlight for another potential match after his victory over rival Amir Khan in February 2022, as well as the possibility of a world title fight. In November, negotiations began, targeting a fight for December.
On 24 November, the fight was made official to take place at the AO Arena in Manchester on 21 January 2023, with the event being broadcast live on Sky Sports Box Office in UK and DAZN in the United States. The highly anticipated fight was to be promoted by Boxxer, in partnership with Wasserman Boxing. Smith (32-3-1, 19 KOs) was entering the contest in outstanding form, having secured victories against notable opponents such as Jesse Vargas, Anthony Fowler, and Roberto Garcia. Eubank (32-2-0, 23 KOs) was enthusiastic about returning to the ring after his planned bout with Benn was postponed in October 2022.
His last fight took place in February 2022, where he delivered a commanding performance against Liam Williams, winning by unanimous decision in Cardiff. Eubank entered the bout with a strong sense of confidence, firmly expecting to secure victory within eight rounds. Smith advocated for the weight limit to be set between 158 and 159 pounds.
Aware that his request was unlikely to be accommodated, as it was well documented how Eubank struggled to make 157 pounds against Benn and the fact Smith was a naturally bigger man than Benn. There was a rematch clause in place.
Smith was confident his experience would help him beat Eubank. He also expressed interest in a potential rematch in the future, as well as the option of moving back down in weight class.
In the lead-up to the fight, Chris Eubank made headlines by claiming he only needed to perform at 50% capacity to secure a victory against Smith. Smith dismissed Eubank’s remarks stating, “Chris is bang average but a good, fit athlete. If you need to be 50 percent… if he needs to be 50 percent to beat me, I may as well not show up.” Eubank also noted that he had only sparred for eight rounds, reasoning that he anticipated the match wouldn’t extend beyond that.
Tensions soared at the final press conference as the two boxers exchanged barbs. The confrontation escalated when Smith made a pointed remark, accusing Eubank of rarely being seen in the company of women, asking him, “Do you want to tell us something?” Eubank responded: “Listen, my private life is my private life,” Eubank Jr replied. “That’s irrelevant to the boxing, but I’m happy, I’m comfortable.” After a brief period, broadcaster Andy Scott attempted to guide the conversation in a new direction. His attempt failed when Eubank accused Smith of cheating on his wife. He said, “If you want to get dark and personal with it, talking about being gay and do I like girls? I’ve been told by multiple sources that you cheat on your wife on occasion. “I’d rather be gay than a cheat.”
Following the press conference, both boxers issued apologies for their remarks. Sky Sports also expressed regret, labelling the comments as homophobic. Reports indicated that the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) may pursue misconduct charges against Smith in light of his statements.
On 17 April 2023, the BBBofC ruled both individuals guilty of misconduct and imposed undisclosed fines on them.
Both boxers weighed the same 159 pounds. Eubank further taunted Smith by wearing a Manchester United jersey (Liverpool’s rivals) and wore a rainbow armband. Overall, there was little drama to add at the weigh in following the final press conference.[19][20] Eubank was a 3-1 favorite over Smith.

🥊HE’S BACK‼️ Tyson Fury returns after a two-year layoff | Fury vs Sefer Seferi | FULL FIGHT
On 10 January 2018, Fury announced he would be re-applying for his boxing licence through the BBBofC. An interview took place between Fury and BBBofC on 19 January, where the latter agreed to re-instate Fury as long as he sent them up-to-date medical records after visiting a psychologist. Fury said a motivation on his return was Deontay Wilder. “He said I couldn’t do it, he said definitely not Tyson Fury. He’s done.” At a press conference in London on 12 April 2018, Fury announced he had signed a multi-fight deal with Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions. He stated that he intended to fight at least three times before 2019, starting on 9 June at the Manchester Arena. After weeks of speculation, it was confirmed the fight would be shown exclusively on BT Sport.
On 20 May 39-year-old Albanian Sefer Seferi (23–1, 21 KOs) was announced as Fury’s opponent in a 10-round bout. Seferi was a career cruiserweight, having fought once at heavyweight, when he lost to Manuel Charr in 2016. Fury weighed 276 pounds (125 kg) at the weigh-in, 66 pounds (30 kg) heavier than Seferi. Fury had lost 112 pounds (51 kg) for the fight, having experienced extreme weight gain due to his mental health problems.

🥊FURY’S ON FIRE🔥 Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte | FULL FIGHT | WBC Heavyweight Boxing | 23/4/2022
Tyson Fury 31–0–1 (22 KO) vs. Dillian Whyte 28–2 (19 KO) was a professional boxing event that featured heavyweight professional boxing match contested between WBC and The Ring heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, and WBC interim heavyweight champion, Dillian Whyte.
The bout took place on Saturday 23 April 2022 at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
On 9 October 2021, undefeated WBC and The Ring heavyweight champion Tyson Fury defended his world titles against former WBC champion Deontay Wilder in their trilogy match, when he defeated Wilder via eleventh-round knockout in a widely acclaimed contest that was named The Ring magazine Fight of the Year 2021. Fury’s mandatory challenger, Dillian Whyte, had been scheduled to face southpaw Otto Wallin in a defence of his WBC interim title later that month on 30 October, but the fight was cancelled days beforehand after it was alleged that Whyte had suffered a shoulder injury, ruling him out of contention. Whyte ultimately did not reschedule the fight, opting to bypass Wallin for a shot at Fury’s world titles.
On 30 December 2021, WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman, who had ordered Fury to defend his WBC title against Whyte, ruled that the champion Fury would be entitled to 80% of the purse, compared to Whyte’s 20% as the challenger.
Sulaiman had set a deadline of 11 January 2022 for purse bids, as the two fighters’ camps could not agree to terms. However, this deadline was pushed back multiple times, in part due to ongoing negotiations from Fury’s team who were trying to secure the fight for the undisputed heavyweight championship against undefeated WBA (Super), IBF and WBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk. A fight between Fury and Usyk did not materialise, as deposed former champion Anthony Joshua was unwilling to step aside to allow the two champions to fight.
The deadline for the Fury-Whyte purse bids was ultimately scheduled for 28 January 2022, when it was announced that Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions had won the rights to promote the fight, with a winning bid of $41,025,000 (£31 million), beating out the $32,222,222 (£24 million) bid submitted by Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom. Warren’s bid was reported to be the highest successful purse bid in boxing history.Fury reacted to the news, stating on social media that he is “coming home”, suggesting that the fight against Whyte will be the first time he will box on U.K. soil since his August 2018 win against Francesco Pianeta. On 25 February 2022, it was officially announced that the fight would be taking place at Wembley Stadium in London, England on 23 April.
The first press conference for the fight took place on 1 March at Wembley Stadium, with Whyte absent. Whyte’s lawyer stated that his client would not be partaking in promoting the fight, as “we still do not have things resolved”. Despite his opponent’s non-attendance, Fury as usual was “in full showman mode”, declaring, “Even Tyson Fury versus his own shadow sells”, and promising that the fight “is going to be a Ferrari racing a Vauxhall Corsa”. When asked about Whyte’s no-show, Fury opined, “He’s definitely shown the white flag in my estimation.” In addition, he stated that his bout against Whyte would be the final fight of his professional career, promising to retire after the fight: “I’m a two-time undisputed world champion. [I have] £150m in the bank and nothing to prove to anybody.”
Tickets for the fight went on sale on 2 March. 85,000 of the 90,000 available tickets were sold within the first 3 hours, prompting Fury’s promoter Frank Warren to begin the process of applying to the local authorities to expand the capacity to 100,000 fans, which would make Fury-Whyte the largest post-war boxing attendance in the history of the United Kingdom.
The contest ultimately took place in front of a record-breaking crowd of 94,000 fans: 4,000 more than the attendance of Anthony Joshua vs. Wladimir Klitschko which also took place at Wembley Stadium in 2017, thus setting a new attendance record for a boxing match in Europe.
