Chief executive of HSBC UK Ian Stuart joined Sky News’ Ian King to discuss HSBC’s rescue of Silicon Valley Bank UK amid fears of a banking crisis.
He said: “We want to underpin the business – we’ve already put £2.2bn of liquidity. We will be supporting the bank by putting our own machinery into it – and then we’ll get into growth mode.”
