More than 100 tech firms’ CEOs have told Chancellor Jeremy Hunt they believe the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank would bring harm to the UK’s tech sector.
PM Rishi Sunak, who is flying to the US for an official visit, has echoed comments by Chancellor Jeremy Hunt that the Treasury is “working at pace” to tackle the issue, but does not believe there is a “systemic contagion risk”.
