Sri Lanka’s previous administration must bear the blame for the economic crisis facing the country, according to newly-appointed Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
Speaking to Sky News, Mr Wickremesinghe said the previous government had “run down the economy”, causing the nation to go bankrupt for the first time in its history.
